FAPA's Free Future Pilot Forum
Are you an aspiring pilot?  Are you interested in learning more about pathways to a professional pilot career?  The event will be in Miami on January 7 at the Miami Doubletree by Hilton Airport & Convention Center.  Attendees may come in person or register to view the video remotely which will be available after the event.  The forums offer future professional pilots a FREE educational day about pathways to professional pilot careers.  The event will include a complimentary showing of the inspirational documentary 'Living in the Age of Airplanes'.
Aspiring pilots of all ages are invited to attend with their parents in person or may register to view portions of the event via on demand video later.

FSU Service Scholar Program
Florida State University is pleased to present the application for the Service Scholar Program.  The Service Scholar Program recognizes select incoming students with an outstanding record of community service and leadership and who want to continue that commitment at FSU. Program benefits include a scholarship valued at $2,400 per year for up to four years, participation in a service-learning academic curriculum, exposure to a diverse group of individuals and social issues, and support via an assigned faculty advisor.
An important part of continuing the success of this extraordinary Program is recruiting excellent incoming students. Therefore, the Center for Leadership & Social Change is making tremendous efforts to promote this opportunity to all incoming FSU freshmen or interested high school juniors and seniors.

2017 Black History Month Contests
The theme for this year's essay and art contests is "A recognition of the African-American role in shaping Florida today."  Students are asked to share how African-American Floridians have impacted our state's history and culture.  Information about the contests and Florida's Black History Month is available on Florida's Black History Month website,  Winners can receive a 4-year Florida College Plan Scholarship provided by Florida Prepaid College Foundation.
