Annual Athletic Passes are on sale at the cashier's window. These passes along with a photo ID are good for all HOME athletic events this year - District, Regional, and State tournaments excluded. Student passes are $40 Adult & Family passes are also available.
STUDENTS-The use of headphones, ear buds, and/or cell phones is allowed during lunch and class changes only. If you are sent out of class with a pass, that is NOT the time to be using these devices and they should not be seen. Thank you for your cooperation so that we may keep the privilege to use these devices on campus altogether.
PHS students are invited to attend a matinee showing of Les Miserables on Friday, May 12 at 9:30 am for a discounted price of $10 per ticket and $2 for the bus. Students who attend will be excused from classes. 50 tickets are currently reserved and will be sold first come, first served. If all 50 are sold, we will ask for more tickets. Please pay your $12 to Mrs. Keene at the cashiers window.
10th and 11th Grade Students: If you are interested in WELDING Dual Enrollment through First Coast Technical College next school year, please make an appointment with your Guidance counselor to discuss the program. Students must complete an enrollment packet and be able to have a two block period of time in the morning and a block of time in the afternoon to attend classes. Students will also be required to attend classes on Saturdays and possibly some evenings.
Students age 16-18: Putnam Community Medical Center is looking for students to be a part of their Junior Summer Program. These students will get hands-on experience working in our local hospital in a variety of departments. Students must have a 2.5 GPA, be willing to work for a four-week period in a pre-set schedule. Interested students can pick up an application packet in Guidance. All applications are due by Friday, April 14.
SJRSC is offering ACT Review classes for the April 8 ACT. English is April 1 from 9 to 1. Each class is $37.50. Students can pick up a registration form in Guidance from Mrs. Sharp. Forms must be submitted by noon the day before the class.
The Lee Conlee House is looking for students who want to be a part of preventing violence in our community through their organization called Youth Community Action. You will earn community service hours. See guidance for more information.
PHS will host the second semester ASVAB inventory exam on Wednesday, April 5th in Room 126 during 1st-3rd periods. There will be certified recruiters from the U.S. Army (SSgt Roy) and the National Guard (SGT Gonzalez) conducting the exam. Sign up in guidance!

Prom tickets will go on sale for the final time, March 27th through April 7th for $55 for Seniors, $120 Senior and a Date or $65 for Single, $130 Couple for Juniors. A limited number of packages are still available for $75 for Seniors, $160 Senior and a Date or $90 for Single, $180 Couple. After Spring Break tickets will be sold if there are any left at $75 a person, seating and souvenirs will not be guaranteed if you purchase a ticket after April 7th.

Please check the bulletin boards in the guidance hallway for other upcoming testing dates and rosters from now through May. Also, every students should have received a letter with the Spring testing calendar to help you keep track of your testing dates as well. Be responsible and show up for your tests on time and prepared to do your best! :)
The Northeast Florida Community Action Agency is offering a summer program call Data Busters for 14-16 year-olds. This program provides an opportunity for disadvantaged students to learn computer skills and important job related skills. You will receive compensation for this program. Applications are available in the front office with Mrs. Lewis. Application deadline is April 7th.
